Too often we find ourselves wondering 'did that really happen?' just to find that is was slightly fabricated by the person who reported it. This happens often, as they're trying to capture their audience's attention.
Citizen Journalists report the news as it happens. The Journal is similar to this, but is reported as seen. This means: what I see, is what I report. What some may see as small news, it is usually something which occurs in many people's lives.
For Example: The police have been contacted by several different citizens - over a period of time, with concerns of a possible brothel conducting business from the house next door. Although they've been contacted, the police do not investigate the reports. In examples like this, the police only appear after something bad has occured.
The Journal will share many opinionated views with some reports, some mostly of basic common sense. May also contain local 'Weather Watch' posts, which is also used on the WeatherMob application.
